Inspirational Buckets

It was my first day back at school today and my website is still blocked, which isn't very nice.

I am thinking about making a website for my village, Hungarton, based around Blogger like this one is so it can be easily updated by anyone.

Anyway, that's boring, much more interesting news is that the Hyacinth Bucket picture I made inspired M3Essential to make this. This makes me very happy because M3Essential is one of my favorite b3tans.

Also, look at this, you can chat to the Internet. Groovy.

Edit: I have just notice that I placed second in connor's competition. This makes me very happy. Thank you connor.

AS levels!

Today I got my AS level exam result, I could have gotten them yesterday but I didn't because I got them today. If I had have gotten them yesterday then I would not have been able to get them today as I would already have them. I would have had to video myself getting them yesterday and then played it back today in order to replicate the feeling of getting them yesterday, today. Luckily, I got them today.

They are as follows:

General Studies - C (oh noes!)

Religious Studies - A

Product Design - B

English Language - B

I am quite pleased.

Paper Weights

Download Konfabulator, it is great. You can run little program things (called widgets) on your desktop, like clocks and weather forecasts and stuff,

Q: How ace is that?
A: Very.

After downloading it, download the B3ta widget. It displays pictures from the board or pictures form the front page in a little slide show. Groovy.

No hands needed umbrella! Can product design get any better than this? I don't think so. I particularly like the 'Now you can "wear" your umbrella!" line. Classic.

In other news, I made a site map. Look at it, it's good.

Many felt that this time Hollywood

had gone too far with the Gangsta remakes

Other Stuffs

I have seen a few websites that go through knock off films that have been subtitled into english in china, like this. This is what Hollyoaks would be like if it was subtitled by the chinese. Hahahahahahaha.

There have been some brilliant Weebl cartoons this week. A new Weebl and Bob, which I think is the best I have seen, and a new episode of the Moon King, which is ace.

Audioscrobbler is now all new, which is good, except that the FTL fm group seems to have disappeared. IT'S BACK, YAY!!!

Ska

Mushroom off of b3ta made this out of amoebaboy off of b3ta's animation. I love b3ta :)

*Skanks*

Mojo magazine has a list of the 100 best Bob Dylan songs, I wouldn't have put Mississippi or It Ain't Me Babe so high but it is a good list. In other news, Dylan topped this list. This is also a good list.

Too subtle? Hover cursor over image.

I had heard of Banksy before but never realized how great he was. The things that he has put into museums are especially brilliant.

Fetch bench! Fetch!

I made an animation out of connor's pictures for his compo.

Yay

Kittens

The Daily Kitten - kittens, updated daily. Brilliant. The Daily Kitten is 100% better and more fluffy than either The Daily Mail or The Daily Express.

Dylan & The Dead

Singing Fish, a audio and video search engine, finds a number of mp3's of Bob Dylan live with the Grateful Dead. Which is nice.

iMonkey

Today I have been completing a task. A task set by myself. A task that is so important and secret I have only given myself permission to disclose information about it to the internet and nothing else.

This task of such unimaginable importance is the creation of pictures for the titles in my A-level Product Design investigation into the development of the ergonomics of the iPod's clickwheel controls.

I made them from screen shots of the iPod adverts, which can be found here. I think they look pretty groovy:

See, they are good (except, maybe, for the blue one) and they should make my product study look fecking ace.

Finger Monkey

"Finger monkey, finger monkey,
Sitting on my finger,
You are a finger monkey,
About the size of a finger,
On a finger about the size of small monkey,
I love you, Baby."

Remember that song? Of course you do, it was one of the biggest hits of September 1984. Here is the monkey that inspired it.

"I smell burning gravel"

One question that I am often asked is "Would you like to purchase some assorted seeds?". I usually lift my hand and shake my head slightly in response to this, to indicate I would not like to buy anything but at the same time to show thanks to the person for their offer. My response is more than often met with a declaration by the seller that the seeds will grow into a wonderful garden, I will become hugely popular and will be given leading roles in Hollywood blockbusters. At this point I do my best to throw the sales person into the sea.
